How To Help

 

No matter how you decide to give, your support has an immediate impact on fighting hunger in Montgomery County.

 

Donate

Every dollar you contribute to The Montgomery County Food Bank 7 meals are given to those in need.  With your help, we can continue to feed those in need.

Volunteer

Volunteers do everything from repackaging bulk food into family-sized packages, to sorting canned goods from food drives and salvage from grocery chains. We also need help in the office answering phones, preparing marketing materials, or at events. Look under the volunteer tab for events that need volunteers.

Check out our events! We need volunteers at events to be at our booth and give out information. Sometimes we play a "Knock Out Hunger" Game and need volunteers to run the booth.

You are invited to volunteer one time or on a regular basis. Come with a group or come by yourself.
There's always someone you can team up with at The Food Bank. Saturdays are by prior arrangement and generally are scheduled 9am-12 noon.

We could not achieve our goals without the help of food donations from local companies, food drives and individuals motivated to help others in need.

Dosey Does in The Woodlands. Concert starts at 8:30. All CD sales will benefit the MCFB.

Show starts at 8:00pm. This performance will benefit the MCFB.


Feb. 11

NUNSENSE AT OWEN THEATER IN CONROE

Show starts at 8:00pm. This performance will benefit the MCFB.

Matinee performance starts at 2:00pm. The show will benefit the MCFB.


Feb. 18

GO TEXAN PARADE

Join us in the Conroe Go Texan Parade. Line up starts at noon. Volunteers are needed to help carry the banner.

 

March 3

FEASTING ON THE FRONTIER

La Torretta on Lake Conroe starting at 6:30pm. Tickets available by calling 936.539.6686. Dinner, dancing, and auctions! Sponsorship and ticket information. Online payment accepted. Go to DONATE NOW, type of donation-GALA. 


March 21

TASTE OF EAST MONTGOMERY COUNTY

Stroll among the booths and sample a variety of food & beverage offerings. Volunteers needed from 4pm-8pm at the Yellow Rose Reception Hall in New Caney.



March 31

KIDZFEST

Volunteers needed 10am-5pm in Downtown Conroe to play Knock-Out Hunger Game.


March 31-April 1

THE WOODLANDS SPRING HOME AND GARDEN SHOW

Volunteers needed 10am-7pm Saturday, and 10am-6pm on Sunday at the Waterway Marriott for the MCFB table. 



April 28

TEXAS SAWMILL FESTIVAL

Volunteers needed 10am-5pm at the East Montgomery County Improvement District in New Caney for festival.
